In Memory of Pueblo Pachyderm Treasurer, Ron Wahlmeier, 8/22/41~1/20/26

William Ronald Wahlmeier, 84, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. He was born August 22, 1941, in Denver, Colorado, to the late George and Lois (McIntyre) Wahlmeier.

A 1959 graduate of Central High School, Pueblo, Colorado. Ron married his sweetheart Pearl Irene Reynolds in 1964.

He received his master’s degree in Hospital Administration and spent his career as a Lab Manager.

Pachyderm club memberships are open to all Republicans
Pachyderm club meetings are open to the public and encourage non-member attendance
Pachyderm clubs, as an organization, do not endorse issues or candidates in a contested primary election
The National Federation of the Grand Order of Pachyderm Clubs is an official allied group of the Republican National Committee and as such, member clubs operate as enhancements to the Republican party rather than as a competitor
The Pachyderm Club movement is one of the most practical means by which broad citizen participation in politics may be achieved
Pachyderm clubs are controlled locally, yet operate within an established standard framework
Pachyderm clubs meet regularly either weekly, bi-monthly or monthly and provide continuity for Republican volunteers and activists

Pachyderm Preamble

It is our belief that most of the corrupting influences in American Politics could be erased and government made more responsive by one basic improvement. That is, simply for more good citizens to participate in politics. "We get the government we deserve, not the one we wish for," remains a guide-star for a free people. We offer a meaningful movement of political clubs as the most practical means by which a broad citizen participation in politics may be achieved.

Pueblo Pachyderm Bi-Weekly Luncheon April 3, 2026

Join us on April 3rd at Cat's Pourhouse, 147 S. Tiffany Dr. in Pueblo West, and bring a friend, as Pueblo Pachyderms welcome Dr. Janak Joshi, running for United States Senate in the 2026 General Election.

Dr. Janak Joshi is a retired physician who practiced in Colorado Springs for 30 years.

After his retirement, Joshi gave back to his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Crime Stoppers and volunteering with non-profits and community clinics. Janak was then elected to the Colorado House of Representatives for three terms from two different districts.

In his tenure, he served on several committees and made a name for himself as a principled conservative unwilling to betray our shared values. Dr. Joshi says he did not once vote for a fee, tax, or spending increase.

Janak Joshi has been married to his wife, Anjana, for 51 years, and they have two daughters and two grandchildren.

Join us for the April 3rd luncheon at CaT's Pourhouse, 147 Tiffany Dr., Pueblo West, CO.

You can check in around 11:15 AM, with a buffet lunch at 11:30. Lunch costs $16, but if you want to hear the speaker, you are welcome to join us without lunch. At 11:30 a.m., we begin with an opening prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by club announcements, and then proceed with lunch.
